Who is “Dynasty” ( T.I.A. Showcase Winner )

 

 

 

 

Deana Woodridge was born and raised in East Orange New Jersey.  At the age of 16 is when she
started her career as a Rap Artist.  Determined to succeed in the rap game she decided she needed a name. ”Dynasty” inspired by soap opera.  She began recording in a studio in Newark. From there she worked with numerous upcoming artists.  Growing up as an eighties baby she was exposed to rough troubling times, which gave her the insight to do something with her life.
Dynasty always had a passion for the arts.  Whether it was music, dance, or art.  She has always been an energetic poised individual.  Each and every morning when she began to get ready for school she listed to Hot 97.  After school she would come home and watch BET music videos.  Artists such as Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, and Queen Latifah was some of the many who were blanketing the airwaves.  She appreciated the elements of the music industry.
Back  in 1996 Dynasty was featuted on Shades of Hip Hop.  She was the only female rap artist from Jersey introuced on that volume. Her personal accomplishments include, graduating from high school, Certified as a Medical Instructor, and graduating college with a GPA 3.7.  Not only is she talented but educated.  Dynasty recently performed at a showcase at the Key Club in Newark New Jersey “GSF” GARDEN STATES FINEST.”GSF and we D.I.M.E’S Ima rep till my death untile D.I.E” She was the grand prize winner.  She has her number one single being released on a mixtape in February.  Which she would be featured for the next Get Your Buzz Up Showcase in Philly.  She is currently finishing her album  to release in Spring 2012
